Hello my name is Kenny Clinton Lee im am a part the utah chapter in midvale called R.W.Moore and i have some thing to say and i would like it posted in the next DeMolay news letter i think it would show everyone how strong our brother hood for each other shold be like i have been in DeMolay for about 3 years now so any way here is my story...... about a week ago i was at my apt. with my ex-girlfriend and a couple of my buddys thats not my buddys any more but any way it was about two in the morning and we were playing video games and i got this smart idea to take 21 ib prophen 5 perscibed ib prophone and 5 anti-depperson pills all at once then me and my ex-girlfriend started to fight and she wanted to take me to the hospitil and i didnt want her to becuse we were fighting then she called brock hollister a fello brother of my chapter wich was one of my best friend for about 3 years and he showed up and by the time he got there i was already kinda passing out and my heart rate was pretty high up there he got there and took my heart beat and my cousin mat brassard was there two also a DeMolay in our chapter and brock told him to call the ambulance i started to pass out even more then about 10 min's later after thay called the emt's showed up and cop's two thay took me to st. marks and thay hooked up an I.V. and took some blood from me then i past out again i dont remimber much but waking out once kinda and thay called my mom and my mom was sitting next to me and then i past out again waking out just so i could drink down some charcoal stuff that was nasty and i shaw brock out of the doors becuse thay were open and he was shaking then i pasted out again and woke up once again for the final time and i was in the hospitil bed and i talk to my mom after it all happend and she told me that brock did the right thing by calling and my ex-girlfriend probubly wouldnt of called and she told me that mat and brock were pretty scared for me and thay were so scared that there hands were shaking alot. now im in a drug rehab kinda class and thay support me all the way brock has so much love for me that at like 3 in the moring one night my car shut down and wouldnt start and he came out and took care of me. any way i would really like thise story to be posted becuse this is true brotherhood and love for eachother i love this guy i have my life thanks to him any way thats enough from me please please post thise

Depression is not a unique event, we all have it from time. It is those times that God speaks to us and his hand reaches out to help.

You are blessed to have brothers who love you to the point that they will do the right thing at the right time to help you. Your overdose was a cry for help and your cry was answered in many way,

If you have not already done so, reflect on the Crown of Youth. There you will become familiar again with the truths of life.

We are all beautiful creations and will find within ourselves, with the help of God nad the strengths and skills he gave us to rid ourselves of depression.

Remember you are loved and appreciated by our creator, your parents, our brothers, and those who you do not even know.

The passage through youth and into manhood is filled with many mountains to climb. We can do it, one step at a time. It helps if we reflect the love, care and devotion that we receive.

To have a friend like Brock is better than having all the riches of the world.

I came across your post today and thought how ironic... It was as if I was reading my own words from back when I active in my chapter in Magna Utah.

In fact one of your very advisors or even a few of them may have saved my life on more than one occation and they probibly don't even know they did. I hope I have done the same for them. Not all cries for help are litteral... But as long as you surround yourself with the positive energy of your brothers... AND BELIEVE ME I KNOW THERE IS POSITIVE ENERGY IN RW MOORE... ALWAYS HAS BEEN since the mid 80's ... You can make it through anything!

Listen to the the MEN you have leading your chapter... they were You once... Just a little further west. Ask them about Grocery Shopping down the back streets of Magna. Most of them will tell you some pretty wild stories.

The life ahead of you is wonderful Kenny... You never know - You may end up in a place as lovely as New Zealand.

I didn't experience your past..but I also give thanks to our beloved brother JEFF Pintac. Wen i went to Cagayan de Oro City Philippines, i call her and ask any brothers who knows her, den he replied attached the number of broder RAFFY a WADHI SAAB CHAPTER Cagayan de Oro City..
I don't know the place and i don't have any idea of it.. then i call broder raffy asking a distress, and thank god he help me.. he accommodate me very well...

At that night he call some of our brothers in their chapter.. then they tour me out and providing my needs.

I'm very tankful that I'm a member of IOD.. I didn't expect that I can have the benefits that promises in me...

Thats the Demolay.. Always ready to help to the person who need help.. Were here to serve and help.

My brothers,

Let us at least minimize writing in our own national language (Tagalog). Let us respect those brothers who cannot understand our native tongue. Let us try to write in the English language always.
