Hey Team,

I'm gonna sneak in here (BEFORE Dad Blaze does!) and be the first to announce that FLORIDA has gone POSITIVE for 2007!

Three new Form 10s went into KC HQ today making Florida, Statewide, at +2 for all of 2007, with 6 more known Candidates scheduled for a degree next week!

And there are other Candidates, in other Chapters, not included in this count yet, and Bro. Ian Berry has a month to go in his Term as SMC.

Way to go, all of you in Florida DeMolay. Now let's push that number higher and higher!!

Dad Dale Dietzman, State Chapter Dad, Florida

And, I will add my congratulations to the jurisdiction of Japan, who has also reached positive growth for 2007.

The Jurisdiction of Ontario has reached positive growth for 2007! Congrats to Dad Loiselle and all the Brothers and Advisors in my former neighbors to the South!

(Look it up. Detroit has the only crossing into Canada, where you actually travel south into the country from the US.)

Thanks for noticing Ron.

DeMolay Ontario has grown from 39 members in 2001 to 120 members in 2007 or 300%. This is
our 8th consecutive year of positive growth and is ALL as a result of the hard work of our members. They take pride in being DeMolay and work hard in building their programs and term plans that make their friends eager to join as part of our fellowship.

Our members constantly seek ways to build their membership by bringing firends, relatives and neighbours to join with them in their activities. It's a pleasure today to see attendance at individual chapter activities equal the attendance at jurisdictional events just three years ago.

Gone are they days when we said... You need to bring us two members, one to replace you when you age out and one for growth. We've modified this to include, "Each Year"

What I find amazing is not the number of FMA's and Blue Honor Keys that are being awarded but the number of White Merit Bars that are being earned by so many members who are buying into the concept of "Making my Friend my brother"

Regards,
Ernie Loiselle

With the latest membership numbers posted today (8/14) - the Jurisdiction of Missouri has made positive growth with +2 on the year (with 99 new members thus far)!

Congratulations to all the young men, and a special welcome to all the new Brothers in the "Show Me" state.

Fraternally,
Dad Ron Blaisdell

Dad Itz,

I have driven threw Wisconsin twice, and visited the University of Wisconsin. Love the State! And here here to Dad Dale's comment! Only I'll take some cheese curds as well.

My wife and I were in Iowa for a wedding, and my friend took us to a dairy farm in Wisconsin, and we had some fresh curds...good stuff!!

Great job South Dakota! I hope your chapter keeps on growing!!!

Bro D -

That is AWESOME! I wish my chapter was able to do that.

One of these days I want to get to South Dakota and travel the State! I majored in History with a concentration in Native Americans while at the University of Florida. Had I not got accepted into law school, my back ups were Grad School in either South Dakota or Arizona, or Culinary Arts school.

I absolutely love the Native American tribal stories from South Dakota, and would love to see the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, the Crazy Horse memorial, and OH so much more! I would probably need a months vacation to do everything I would like to do in South Dakota!!

Take care Brother and keep on growing!!!
