OK, so i didn't work out the detail on this but its going to be big once i present it again, revised to my chapter. the program is basically an older boy takes in a newer boy and assists him in his queries and answers all questions the newer boy has to asked. however it is hard to keep track of whose big brother to who. should i assign the newer boy a big brother based on who first lined signed his petition

Assign by experience.

And tracking is as simple as keeping a notebook with the information.

And nothing is to say that a more Senior Brother could not be "big brother" to more than one new member.

Thats what our chapter is starting. We call it a "mentor" program, but its the same thing. I am a mentor, and I help new brothers with their questions, as well as push them to learn their obligations. Once a brother learns their obligations, they seem to stick around for longer. So keep that in mind, too.
