Hi there Brothers.
I would like to know, if a visitor that is not a Master Mason ou a Senior Demolay comes to watch an Iniciatory Degree meeting, did he has to do the Vouch of Secrecy? I mean, is there something that obligates him to do the Vouch, or the visitor can decide if he does the vouch or not?

Well, I would probably say so.

Dad Land did tell the original 9 boys and those that later joined the Mother Chapter to never let the un-initiated know that which is in the Ritual after Frank Marshall wrote it over the night before. I would say, to prevent it from spreading to the un-initiated, that yes, they should have to take the vow.

in my state (tennessee) only master masons,eastern stars,active and senoir demolay's, and parents of demolays can veiw any of the ritual material rather in the chapter or the text itself. and any parent who does not have a masonic backgroud generaly has to take the pledge of secrecy. but if you have questions about this your best option is to ask the chapter dad or an advidor.

Hum... I'm just asking this question Brothers, because here in my country, Brazil, It doesn't matter if you are the father of the Demolay, or anything, the tutor, whatever. If you are not a FreeMason or a Demolay, you can't watch the meetings here in Brazil.
I asked it here in the forum, because I heard that, there in USA, non DeMolays and Masons, could watch the meetings, for exemple, a woman from the Eastern Star.
