In the USA, as does the collection of funds for the charity?
What is the container? In that time the collection is done? What are the procedures? Thiago Augusto" |

We do do this in my chapter. There is a small box that is brought around when doing business (AKA after opening but before closing).

It is loaded by someone and offered to all people? She is somewhere in pedestal for anyone to donate?

I think the almoner (we don't have one) takes it around to each officer and member during business.

Speaking from the view of the 1960s, there are two issues touched on here. Chapter support of charitable activities and the Almoner's Fund.
General charitable suport was usually the financial results of a specific project. That project might be a meal, public invited; a street corner collection "toll road"; or a sale, pizzas. All or a portion of the net proceeds were donated to the charity. Collections in the meeting were made by the Almoner under Good of the Order. This fund was used for cards, flowers, cheer-up gifts that would be sent to members, Moms and Advisors who might be ill, and for flowers or donations in the name of members of the DeMolay family who had passed away.
