I am using a translator to speak in English, so I apologize if erre in spelling.
I wonder if there is a reason why we can not move between the East and the Altar.
I know Ritual allows in some occasions, such as initiation and etc.
But I wonder if someone would explain the 'spirit' of this rule.

Thank you

So that the influences of the open Holy Bible on the Master Councilor are not interrupted.

This is a personal interpretation your brother?
Because the only reference that I thought about it was the 'hand of the leader' that says that this is an ancient tradition!

You have an MSN?

I guess you could call it a "personal interpretation," it is how it has been explained for many years, and how it is explained in the Masonic Lodge.

And, unfortunately, I do not use MSN.

Dad, thank you for your reply.
I really came to mind several things, such as: not pass in front of who presides the session [lack of education] and etc. Hehe

What about the work done on the ground clockwise?

As is it done in many ceremonies, from religious, to civil. The circumnambulation follows the path of the sun.

As Carl Jung said:
quote:
The circumnambulation, the process of “squaring the circle” or “circling the square”, has an uncertainty built into the journey: do we ever achieve individuation or is it a goal that is ever just out of reach? It is important to take the path, to revolve around the center, to rotate near and around the center, and hopefully, move towards the self ... the self is our life’s goal, for it is the completest expression of that fateful combination we call individuality ...”

My Brother,

From what I have been taught about the Line Between the Holy Bible and the Master Councilor. Is that the Master Councilor's power comes from the Bible or whatever Holy Word is upon the Alter. And that no one is to interupt that line without the permission or direction of the Master Councilor.

Now as for the whole "clockwise" matter, we move in that direction to follow the pattern of the sun. We start from the East which is the Morning, then we hit the South which is Meridan, then the West is the Setting Sun. That is the Best Explaination that I can tell you.

If you have anyother questions, please feel free to ask.

I have another question: Here in Brazil a lot of people says many things about ritual and simbolism, but I don't believe them because they don't show me any source and any research about it. Please could you say me the meaning of the simbolism of each Officer, please? Thanks

Simply read the ritual.
The M.C. It is an emblem of the beginning of life.
The J.C. The years of age.
The S.C. The end of life.
Also read the service of installation!

Simple well! : D
