Recently, I was searching on a search engine some diferent things about demolay when i stumbled upon the entire ritual on the internet, free to any body to see. Is this allowed? Or is it free to anybody to put what every they want on the internet?

i saw thia too. it is not good, because i am pretty sure that might be illegal, but probably not.

i to have seen these things and while we might not like it in the united states it's called freedom of speech and freedom of the press basic
and since i am a 2nd year criminal justice student and going pre-law my question to demolay international is are these people violating copyright laws?? i mean the front of the ritual does say "all portions of this ritual are to be givin from memory" so can someone interpret that for me plz????

I notice too about the secrets of IOD post in the internet..

For how many times i saw it.. like " i do promise and vow" and some fellow demolay put it in their friendster profile.. Some of them too put the secret WORDS that we treasure for how many years..

Is there ant action about this major problem??

Freedom, liberty and democracy........... this is America, and this is the age of computers. You can buy or read monitors or rituals in libraries.

Freedom, liberty and democracy..is not bad..

But for me. in demolay.. posting the secrets , rituals , and PW of the org is not freedom..

Are you agree in posting all our secrets and rituals in the internet??

For better or worse, the internet has made it possible for anyone, anywhere, to gather or distribute anything. There are many inappropriate web pages. There is information available that, in my opinion, has no place in the public domain. But alas, that is water under the bridge.

As a member of the Order of DeMolay you have promised to keep the secrets inviolate. There are those in the world that have either decided to ignore that promise or have obtained the secret works through another means.

On the positive(?) side there is so much information out there that, for the uninitiated, it is almost impossible to know what is legitimate and what is a hoax.

The best way to keep the secrets, other than keeping them to yourself, is if someone asks you whether or not something is part of our secret works. Politely explain that you are bound by honor not to answer. But if they truly wish to learn the secrets, they should consider joining with us as a brother. Where they will not only learn our “secrets” but will become part of a vast network of like minded young men that care and support each other.

Yes..we did not jon in the org by the secrets...

But we live in that secret..

It's up to the member of the org if they will revil the secrets of the orther.

Freedom, liberty and democracy is good for the people.however,that rights or privileges are not absolute. it is not absolute in the sense that it is restrain by law.

eventhough those people have such right, they do not have the right to published or to reproduce our ritual. they act with the intention to reveal the serets of our Order. that secrets are very important to us.

what degree in our Order they have revealed?
